Designed specifically for use in peristaltic pump applications, Tygon® XL-60 tubing maintains a pump life of over 500 hours. With a durometer hardness of Shore A 60, it is extremely flexible and exhibits superior flex life, reducing downtime due to pump tubing failure.
Tygon® XL-60 tubing can be considered an alternative to silicones and PVC when longer pump tubing life is required.
Tygon® XL-60 tubing is translucent in colour and has excellent chemical resistance to a wide range of fluids, including acids and bases. It also exhibits and excellent resistance to ozone, oxygen and sunlight aging. Tygon® XL-60 remains flexible at -40° F and is temperature resistance up to 250°F
Tygon XL-60 is NSF-51, FDA and Regulation(EU) No. 1935/2004 compliant.

Its smooth, non-porous bore inhibits particle entrapment, promoting a sanitary fluid path by minimising potential for bacterial growth. It has outstanding resistance to harsh alkaline cleansers and is equally unaffected by commonly used sanitisers.
Light in weight and easy to handle, Tygon S3 B-44-4X can be put into service quickly. It readily bends to accomadate abrupt corners and obstructions, requiring a minimum of couplings and fittings. Its flexibility can save up to one-third the footage and much of the labour required to install rigid stainless or plastic piping.
